Most likely from the late 1970's to 1980's, this fanciful button-up blouse features carved shell buttons, frilly ruffle enhanced neckline, lace details, dressy wide cuffs, and feminine pin gathers at yoke, shoulders and cuffs. This shirt is made from a lightweight cotton weave fabric that was once an ivory shade. I have over-dyed it this ashy-lilac purple hue to help the stains and discoloration appear more interesting and purposeful. I have also made one small repair to lace at left cuff, as well as replaced some of the missing original buttons. Overall condition is excellent, aside from discoloration and staining throughout blouse, including very light discoloration to right underarm area. Please see photographs for full details.
