80s/90s Geometric Red And Black Batik Style Hanky Scarf$25.00
When you want to seem interesting, as you pull out a handkerchief to wipe your sweat...
Possibly a good conversation starter, this square cotton handkerchief style scarf (when folded into quarters) is made with a unique design. Made utilizing batik technique (pouring hot wax onto fabric in a design, then when the wax has cooled and dried, you dye the fabric to create an impression/effect like this!), this cotton scarf features a geometric design that reminds me a bit of bamboo -could it be of Japanese origin? We may never know because this piece is unmarked and without label. Scarf edges are machine stitched for durability. The overall condition is mint, or new, with no signs of wear and no flaws to note (please note that the light crease marks on the border sections were created during the batik process and are an anomaly).
