80s/90s Burgundy Suede Fringe Western Tunic Shirt Blouse$35.00
This late 80s or early 90s, western-style fringed suede shirt is made of burgundy suede leather. The oversize fit makes it a perfect unisex item, but it was originally designed as a ladies’ blouse. The shirt has large shoulder pads, full sleeves that taper to button cuffs, and a small, pointed collar. The front of the shirt has zigzag seaming above the row of fringe, as well as a horizontal seam (hidden under the fringe) at about waist height. In back, a horizontal seam creates a wide shoulder yoke, with the fringe attached below. The fabulous fringe extends over sides of the sleeves also, attached just below the shoulder seams. The soft suede is unlined. The blouse has a curving, “shirt-tail” hem, and is quite long, falling to about mid-thigh on our tall mannequin. This circa late 80s fringed suede top is in excellent condition, with no flaws to note. It was intended for an oversize fit, and we have tried to estimate the approximate size for this loose fit in our measurements, but it could certainly be worn as a more fitted style, if you prefer.
