This is a classically designed wool jersey knit shift dress with a twist from the great Amerian designer, Bill Blass. The color of the main part of the dress is a heathered (with black) chocolate brown. Solid black knit is pieced in around the neckline to form a wide but low funnel neck. The dress closes with a back zipper and is lined in brown fabric, probably acetate. There is no fabric label, but the dress looks and feels like wool, possibly a wool blend. It most likely dates to the late 1980s or early 1990s. There also is no size label, but sizing charts indicate it could fit a size 12 or 14. (It's just slightly larger than two similar Bill Blass dresses from the same source that both are labeled size 12.) Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size.

- Length is 38" down center back excluding raised neck.

CONDITION
Exterior shell is in excellent condition with no apparent flaws. Seams on the interior lining are a bit stressed but intact.
