Vintage silk jersey knit pants from Italian designer Averardo Bessi feature a flared leg opening embellished with a black and white mod pattern. Elastic waist, 100% silk, labeled IT 42 and US size 8. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size. These pants are stretchy, but the measurements were taken with the knit relaxed.

Note on the Designer: Founded in 1950, the Averardo Bessi label introduced his famously printed fabrics that were reminiscent of Emilio Pucci, one of his contemporaries, in 1966. (Some sources state that Bessi was in fact a fabric designer for Pucci). Bessi designs still have a very loyal following among European and American women, and his vintage pieces are highly collectible.
