1980s Velvet Puff Sleeve Beaded Ruched Shimmer Evening Gown

Purchased directly from the Art institute’s private fashion resource center collection in Chicago!

Size: No size tag. Fits like a modern small/ Medium.
Condition: Pretty good. A few loose beads. There’s a small tear on the back bottom of the black portion, and a tear in the back of the copper skirt. Easy sew fixes if you know how to do so / have the time to take it to a tailor - super gorgeous gown- lots of potential.
Extra Deets: there’s crinoline structuring under the puff sleeves for volume. Flattering side ruched detail and asymmetric hem. Made in the USA. Hidden back zip closure.
