signed piece by a Lynn J. Merhige who is currently about 77 yrs old and owns a gallery in St Petersburg. She states she has been doing pottery for 35 yrs making this an early work. I have been in contact with this award winning potter. She has verified this piece and said that she made one more larger that won the Sarasota Arts award same year.
Her valuation on this piece was sold in 84" was sold at over $400. Her work is going to be shown in the new huge Arts Museum in St. Petersburg in which the value of her early work will increase substantially.

HUGE and amazing design. Very raw and almost ugly to a fault of being beautiful. It is entrancing. In perfect condition.
