Great looking vintage suit from Gianfranco Ferre features a tailored jacket with lightly padded shoulders, topstitching, larage silver-tone buttons, flap pockets, lightly padded shoulders, and sleeves that are both zippered and buttoned at the wrists. The pencil skirt has a back zipper and walking vent. The fabric is a grayish taupe color in 100% wool twill. Both pieces are lined in tan rayon, and both are labeled Italian size 40, which in modern sizing would be about a size 2 or 4 (go by the skirt sizing to determine fit). We are dating the suit to the late 1980s, possibly early 1990s. Please refer to the measurements for additional guidance regarding sizes.

JACKET MEASUREMENTS
- Shoulder width is 16"
- Chest is 38"
- Waist is 32" a little above the pocket flaps
- Sleeve length is 23.5"
- Length is 28" down center back.

SKIRT MEASUREMENTS
- Waist is 26"
- Hips are 36.5" at about 8" below waistband.
- Length is 25" including waistband.

CONDITION
Excellent with no condition issues. Looks like it might not have been worn.
