Jean Muir, (1928-1995) was a British designer whose designs are now very popular on the vintage market. This oversized, 1980s suede coat/jacket from Jean Muir of London comprises black, royal blue, and cranberry red suede. The two colored suedes are enhanced with a subtle gold floral and geometric print. The coat has raglan sleeves, padded shoulders, and a shawl collar. It closes with one large black button with a smaller button on each cuff (spare buttons are still attached inside the coat). Labeled UK size 16 and US size 14.
