Early 80s minimalist hot pink shift dress. This dress appears to be home sewn. I believe the fabric is a linen blend, not just linen, because it doesn't wrinkle much. The color is a pretty and bright bubblegum pink. Dress has a wide V neckline with the early 80s extended shoulder (before shoulder pads became popular). Interesting shoulder treatment consists of a wide collar that starts in front and cris crosses in back over the deep V open back. The dress has a narrow shift shape (especially at the hips) with a knee length hem and a short slit in the back seam. Faux pocket flap in front (no pocket). Air conditioned dress: armholes are roomy and back is open, nice for summer or you may want to wear it as a jumper over a top. Pulls over head, no zipper. There are some faint bluish stains over the back right shoulder as seen in the last photo. Awesome early 80s linen shift dress!
