This was the magnificent black satin dress my fabulous Aunt Dot bought in the 80’s in case she had to attend anything formal. The dress is a size 10, but may run small. Please check the measurements.

Aunt Dot grew up very poor, and absolutely beautiful. When she was in her 40’s she met her future husband, Uncle Jim, who was comparatively wealthy. She did need a gown in case she had to attend a function, and she chose this one. My mother said she never had the opportunity to wear it.

It can be a formal gown or a short, sexy cocktail dress, if you chose to remove the skirt. The bow on the back is strategically placed to make you look just as darling while walking away.
