This dress is from French designer Louis Feraud. It is a gray and white cotton buffalo check pattern, and it buttons up the back. In front it has a white bib and elbow-length dolman sleeves, a very full midi-length circle skirt, an elastic waist, and it comes with a three-inch wide elastic belt that snaps in the front. The dress itself appears to be unworn. Clearly it's design elements were prevalent in the 1950s (I can see it being worn with oxford shoes and bobby socks), but our educated guess, plus all the labels and condition, indicate that it was probably made in the mid 1980s (further confirmed by its being labeled "Made in W. Germany" which was dissolved in 1990). Labeled size 8. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding size.

MEASUREMENTS
- Chest is approximately 40" (Dolman sleeves make chest difficult to measure exactly, but it's quite roomy.)
- Elastic waist is 27" with additional stretch.
- Hips are free.
- Length is 50" down center back.
- Belt seems to have lost some of its elasticity. It is 34" when snapped, and about 3" wide.

CONDITION
Dress is in excellent condition and appears to be unworn. Belt might have lost some elasticity, which is an easy fix by running a seam up the back to shorten it if needed.
