This delicate, semi-sheer vintage black blouse is fabricated from ultra-light polyester chiffon. The feminine shape and lush, romantic ruffles make it an absolute must-have for your sophisticated looks. Pair it with skinny jeans for a casual look or slip it on over a dress for a special occasion. This authentic Victor Costa piece was made with a hidden button front closure, tailored style lines, long sleeves, and semi-sheer sleeves and ruffle detailing. It’s light weight and incredibly comfortable. IT has it’s original tags inside which read, “Victor Costa, 100% polyester, made in USA”. There is no sizing tag to be found but it fits relaxed on a modern day Women’s Medium and fitted on a modern day Women’s Large.
About the designer: Victor Costa is an American fashion designer who was famous internationally in the mid-70s for mimicking high-end European styles, tailoring them to his American audiences. In 1987, the New York Times reported that, along with Christian Lacroix and Arnold Scaasi, Costa "is widely recognized... as a significant contributor to the current vogue for flamboyant, super-feminine dresses that bare the shoulders, hug the waistline and billow and swirl over the hips."
