80’s Emerald Green Plunging Back Maxi Velvet Gown$2,100.00
Own a piece of Hollywood history because this stunning formal dress was previously owned by iconic 80's American actress Leslie Eileen Easterbrook who played Debbie Callahan in the Police Academy films and Rhonda Lee on the television series Laverne & Shirley. It has a true, old Hollywood / classic glamorous look with long line floor length, a drop waistline, and a tulip skirt front which leaves a beautiful slit opening to show the leg. The front bodice has a beautiful high neckline and wide straps while the back has a plunging, deep v design! The exterior fabric is luxurious emerald green velvet while the fully lined interior is 100% silk in a bronze color. It has the most beautiful fit that suggests your curves without giving them away completely. Perfect for red carpet or special events - ultra elegant and timeless! It has it's original labels inside which read "Victor Costa, Bergdorf Goodman on the plaza New York". It has the date 1986 hand written on the label and is a size 8.
Condition:
Great vintage condition with slight discoloration at the edges of the velvet along the arm holes and slit. (we are not sure if this was an intentional design choice or happened over time, see photos). Back closure zipper works perfectly. Overall excellent condition with no rips or tears.
