This fabulous evening gown was made by Bob Mackie in 1982, around the time he opened his ready-to-wear boutique. Made from black silk, it's covered in tons of black jet beads and features a braid of silver and gold beads and white rhinestones at the chest and down through the front. Corset construction with boning at the bodice and bustier strap, too. So chic! Preowned/vintage with DEFINITE signs of use, wear and after-market alteration: missing & loose beads here and there (most obvious as shown in our images), most areas hard to see when wearing but evident if closely inspecting. The original owner added sequined shoulder straps to this piece, which can easily be removed by the new owner. Our price reflects the condition. Tagged size 10, it measures, taken flat: bust - 38in, waist - 28in, hips - 38in, length - 55in.
