From well-known American designer, Nicole Miller, comes this 80's-does-50's LBD...
This wonderful little black dress is made of a lightweight synthetic gabardine weave fabric in black. It features a high/bottle neck (aka mock turtle neck) collar and full length sleeves that narrow at the wrist into a lovely little ruche detail. The bodice has a loose (hey, 80's) fit that gathers neatly into the waist. From here, we have the most wondrous, sculptural skirt design, created from many pleats (resembling a peg top skirt but EXTRA) that finish in soft folds at either side of hips. There is a small kick pleat at center back, because this skirt does fit somewhat like a wiggle skirt (in places). Comes with a matching fabric, extra wide belt, finished with soutache ribbon, black beads, and silver rhinestones. Labels read 'Nicole Miller, size 10, Professionally Dry Clean (well, I hand-washed it!), Union-made in U.S.A.'. Overall condition is excellent to near mint, with some mild, hidden stitch reinforcements (hem, etc.). Please see photographs for full details.
