The stunning sleeve treatment on this Little Black Dress elevates it to true Designer status. The dress itself is a classic sheath style (almost a shift, but the waist is nipped in just a little bit) with long sleeves and shoulder pads. The exaggerated ivory ribbon effect on the right sleeve terminates in a large bow at the shoulder. Closure is with a back zipper. There is no fabric label, but the shell is probably rayon or acetate, or a blend of the two. The "ribbon" appears to be silk charmeuse. Labeled size 6, but seems to measure somewhat larger, which is rare with vintage garments. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding size.*
