Top off any look with this vintage mariner's cap (AKA skipper cap, fisherman's cap, fiddler cap Breton cap, Lenin cap, and Mao cap). It's design includes a soft, flat-topped cap with a small visor, made from black wool felt and adorned with classic trims. It is often associated with seamanship and maritime settings, especially fishing, yachting and recreational sailing. But it became an iconic fashion too, rather than staying isolated as an occupational hat. One example of it being put in prominence in popular culture was when it was worn by John Lennon during the British Invasion of the mid-1960s. This hat specifically was made by in the U.S.A. by "New York Hat Co." in the late 1980's - early 1990's. It has it's original designer label, union tag, and sizing tag inside which reads "Large". It's a fun piece to pair with different looks!
