》Trendy black chenille pullover from the 80s or 90s. This super-soft knit will wrap you in a warm hug and would look cute layered over leggings. Features a crew or boat neck and side slits. The invention of chenille fabric is dated to the 18th century and believed to have originated in France, as Chenille is the French word for caterpillar, whose fur the yarn is supposed to resemble. Chenille had a moment in the 70s and was also popular in the 90s. Recently, chenille sweaters have made a comeback in contemporary fashion. The wider shoulder cut is evident of the 80s and 90s fits.
