DETAILS: These pants were a favorite in my personal closet for more than a decade, beginning in the early 1970s. They were tucked away long ago, and it's time now to send them on to a new home. They are medium to high rise, and designed to fit the body smoothly - no waistband. Below the hips, the pantlegs flow into elephant bells, with nice movement because of the lightness of the fabric. Great for being covered up but cool.
SIZE: No size label.
Waist - 27" (68.5 cm)
Front rise - 13.5" (34 cm)
Hips - 39" (99 cm)
Inseam - 33" (84 cm)
Pantleg circumference - 36.5" (93 cm)
FABRIC/COLORS: Unbleached crinkled muslin - sometimes referred to as gauze, but this is not as see-through as a gauze would be.
TAGS: American Pie
CLOSURES: The pants close with a 6" nylon zipper in mid-back, secured with a hook & eye at the top.
CONDITION: No holes, tears or fabric stress. But definite signs of wear, in the form of scattered small stains, and grayish discoloration along the back of the pantsleg bottoms, where they came in contact with the ground during wear - left leg more pronounced than the right.
