I bought this shirt for the distinctive rounded pockets and wide collar....So 70s!!!!!!! The fabric is a a gauze-like loose weave, so great for the summer, because it breathes. Plaid is a pale orange and lavender. Fabric feels like cotton. Each side as a slit at the bottom. But who can resist an ALFIE shirt? I have had several over the years, and they are all so fantastic! 70's classic! In the photos the top wooden button at the neck is missing, but before I went to find a replacement, I looked inside the shirt, and found a spare sewn in! I put it at the neck, and then I carefully stitched closed the cigarette ash burn photographed. It could not be seen when the shirt is buttoned, but now there is no danger of it catching on something and ripping. The only other thing I did not photograph, because I did not see them, are the areas of minor pilling on the shirt. It only is in a few areas, and could be shaved. Two buttons at each wide cuff....for some odd reason, they are not wooden. (?). All in all , a very distinctive ALFIE shirt, in good condition. No stains, no snags. Go by meaurements:
