Gorgeous 1970’s vintage maxi dress - navy with white Swiss dot print and beautiful ivory ruffled off the shoulder trim. Talon zipper back closure.
The shape of this maxi is truly beautiful - square neckline drapes over sleeveless dress to create a cape effect. Fluffy ruffled trim falls perfectly off the shoulders and back for a delicate glam look. The cut is relatively straight with great stretch - glides over the body beautifully (almost a bias cut effect) on a smaller frame, or hugs every curve on a curvier body type.
I think of this piece as a more subdued or “mature” cottagecore / prairie dress because of the simple navy / white color palette and swiss dot pattern. Can be dressed up for a maximalist glamorous look, or kept simple with the incredible shape speaking for itself!

Great vintage condition!
Some stretching to the fabric by the bottom of the back zipper; super light yellowing on the inside underarms of the dress (see pics). Both flaws are not noticeable when wearing (I didn’t notice until taking photos), and the very slight yellowing (on inside of dress, also covered by cape) may come out with a second soak (soaked in Retro Clean for 36 hours and hand washed twice). Otherwise excellent condition!
