Mod Tunic Jacket and Pants Set from the 1970's

White tunic style jacket with banded collar and cross-over oversized plastic dome button closure. Darts at the bust. Balloon sleeves with button cuffs. Red cross stitch geometric designs along the collar, down the front of the jacket and along the hem. Belt loops at the waist with matching white belt. High waisted and pleated knickerbocker pants that have a relaxed fit through the hips and legs. Cropped with cross stitch at the hem and large plastic domed buttons. Zipper and button at the front waist. This set is very reminiscent of the look the Beatles ado[ted when they took and interest in India. Sort of mod and a little bit bohemian.
