La Mendola was founded by two Americans, Mike La Mendola and Jack Savage, both from Pennsylvania. They opened their boutique in Rome in 1961 and closed in 1974.
They served a high end clientele from all around the world, making custom pieces one by one.
Love the bold black and white design of this piece. Fabric is the trademark Qiana Dupont polyester that was made to mimic silk.
Comfy shift cut has a back metal zipper and sturdy pointed collar. V front.
Matching tie belt with heavy brass coils and black plastic ends.
Long sleeves are slim and have button trim at the wrists.
