I absolutely love serpent jewelry— the Victorians did as well, and I love the romance that these sinuous creatures conjure in the context of jewels. This bracelet is easy to wear two ways: on the forearm, or higher on the bicep. It fits almost any arm, since the mesh hugs, you don't have to worry about it sliding around, even if your arms are on the smaller side. The brand Whiting and Davis was well known for making these mesh bracelets (along with their other iconic gold mesh bags, necklaces, etc.) in the 1970s; they are highly collectible and sought-after. I have owned and sold an identical bracelet made by Whiting and Davis, so I feel pretty confident that this is W&D as well; note that it is NOT signed, which is not entirely out of the ordinary and doesn't rule out the possibility that it is indeed Whiting and Davis. In any case, because of this, I am selling it for a better price, as opposed to if it were signed, so if you have been searching for a bracelet like this, it's your lucky day because this is an amazing deal.
