Two piece dark burgundy velvet formal is a bodycon halter style with matching long sleeved bolero. A contradiction here! This has a metal zipper but it can't be older than 1975 because that's what the ILGWU label tells you. So keep in mind, when something has a metal zipper, it could be newer than mid-60s.

Little bolero jacket is trimmed with ruffles. Long tapered sleeved are puffy at shoulders. No closures. And how cute is it as a separate? (One styling is shown)

Gown has a wonderful flow, sleek and drapey velvet (not velveteen). Two hooks in back of high neck. It says "dry clean only" and I took a chance and did. It came out rather well.

Condition note: It has no flaws but I'm not crazy about the hem. It has some kid of buckram sewn on and it may need steaming, tacking or shortening as this is a very long piece.
