70's Unique Ikat Style Print Dress$155.00
This strange and unique dress is sure to turn heads and garner questions...
At first glance this dress appears to be from, or have a 1970's vibe... however, I have not seen this kind of detailed photographic-like print of Ikat on anything but modern clothing -thus, the mystery of this gown. It has an almost prim-like silhouette with full-length sleeves finished in wide cuffs with five self-fabric covered button closures, as well as stand-up collar or neck. The body of the dress is made of a lightweight, semi-sheer synthetic-like fabric with pixelated and watercolor-y Ikat print in blues and greens, on white ground. Between each layer, or tier, of fabric is a self-fabric covered line of piping -giving the dress an interesting structure and movement. The dress is lined with a lightweight white cotton fabric that stops mid-knee. There is also an invisible nylon zipper at center back. There are no labels or maker's marks to note (so mysterious) and the overall condition is excellent, with little to no signs of wear!
