70s South Indian Toda Tribe Silver Necklace

Beautiful late 60s to early 70s tribal necklace from South India. Women of the Toda Tribe in Tamil Nadu, South India wore this style of necklace. It is an extremely rare and unique piece of jewelry.

It’s High-grade silver (around 90% silver) beads & pendant are re-strung on new black cotton cord. Loop and bead closure are in back. No hallmarks which is common for vintage tribal pieces.

Very Good vintage condition for age.
