This 1970s matte silk jersey dress from New York designer Rodrigues is a picture in perfection. Fabric covered buttons go up the front to a high neckline, with a sash waistline. The inside waist is secured with a waist stay to make sure you get the right silhouette. There's a capelet back that is split down the center to expose a nude mesh backing for a dreamy exposed-back look. Tall, picturesque Grecian inspiration for that column look that pairs perfectly with high heels. Fabric content on this is unmarked, but I believe it's a silk jersey. Rodrigues tag in the side seam. Fabric has some stretch, but please note that the waist stay is a fixed length.

This item was originally owned by Andrea W. of Greenfield NH, who once said that "Denim was the worst thing that ever happened to fashion." She collected a stunning collection of designer pieces through her life, filling up armories and closets with her excellent taste through the years.
