Rust colored 1970's Acrylic knit pullover sweater by Macy's Men's Store. Great 70's style with the big pointy collar, four front buttons that measure 1/2" in diameter, and a great rust color - so on point for the 70's! I could just see this being worn in a kitchen with avocado green appliances, couldn't you?
New old stock, original vintage Macy's tag still attached!!
100% Wintuk acrylic. There is a decent amount of stretch to make this super comfortable!
Tag indicates size Medium.
This sweater is in very good vintage condition. There are minor inconsistencies in the color - you can see it a little more in the photos taken in daylight. Those could be from age, or from the yarn itself when the sweater was made. I don't think that is a major issue at all, it doesn't affect the wearability or integrity of the garment, and it's really not very noticeable. The only other issue is a hole in the front bottom left side. It's a straight line, and measures about 1 3/4" long (unstretched). This would be a fairly easy fix, and because of the location it could be easily concealed/not easy to see. There aren't any runs starting from this hole, so it's very possible that once you sew it up, you'll be good to go.
There are a few minor snags in the fabric, but again, not really noticeable.
