This must be my favorite sweater! For years the front was washed out, and I tried using mink oil on it to bring back the color, but to no avail. Finally, I bit the bullet and took it to my shoe repair man, and he restored it to perfection! Cost me a pretty penny, but it was worth it. I have not had it cleaned, so the stain you see in the front may be removable, who knows. Or maybe you could take a bit of dye to it. One button from the bottom is missing, but LO! When taking pictures for this page, I discovered an extra button inside! ha! There is another button that is a bit worn, and maybe you can replace them all at some point, or have it dyed with leather dressing. Please ignore any weird reddish or purplish tints. This is pure navy blue, and as hard as I tried in Photoshop to remove any color cast, it would not cooperate. The photo of the inside button is the best rendition of the color. I love the funky 1970s design and the pockets!!!!! The label reads L for size and says it is 100% wool. No flaws other than the ones mentioned. Button holes are good, and there is a small loop collar button at the top. sweater is partially lined in black satin.
