What dreams are made of! In the 1970s, Gunne Sax borrowed heavily from Victorian silhouettes, igniting an entire aesthetic that went on to define the style of an era. This dress is a beautiful example: its crafted from gorgeous sheer floral voile, with mutton sleeves, a fitted empire waist bodice with lace-up detail, and lace and crochet trim separating gathered tiers. The dress is fully lined except in the sleeves, and the transparency creates an ethereal effect with your every movement. I absolutely love this color, and the fabric is beautiful, with a great "swoosh"!
Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small, Small, or possibly Medium— It has an empire waist and open hips so it depends mostly on the chest measurement.
Chest: 34"
Underbust/empire waist: 28.25"
Natural waist: 26.26"
Sleeves: 26"
Length: 54.5"
Great vintage condition. There are some tiny miscellaneous spots, mostly towards the hem, all of which are not noticeable unless you are searching for them, especially due to the pattern. It reads very clean (and so beautiful!) when worn. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements.
