Unique and authentic 1970s custom made Batik Tunic tailored in the Dashiki style. Engineered mandala design has lilac ground and abstract ivory and pink elements. The silk appears to be either Thai or India Dupioni which has naturally occurring slubs and raw silk texture, there are no defects in the silk. The fabric also has an iridescent quality which alternatively goes from shades purple to fuchsia - it's lovely! You can really see the hand of the artist Bari Lyn, in the strokes of hot wax batik technique - this garment is a complete original, no doubt.
