Cape style sleeves cover the shoulders but are open under arm. Sash ties on back of waist to cinch waist. Dress has back zipper closure. Safety pinned to center neckline is a fabric pin - could be removed if desired. Likely polyester - Thin, not stretchy and lightweight. Pretty sheer in sunlight so you may need a slip.
