early 1970's hand carved Quecha storytelling gourd from Peru. Traditional folk art made by carving, burning and sanding. Intricate details of Andes Mountains life. Farming, musical and celestial scenes. Beautiful condition. This one has a slaughter, preparing food cooking scene on the bottom half. Top half is Mountains, sun, moon stars, Llama and person playing an instrument. Measures about 4" tall and 4" wide.
