Gorgeous peach silk Chinese jacket with hand embroidered flowers and birds. Made in the 1970s by Red Clouds.
Medium weight silk satin jacket with a Mandarin style collar, 3-1/2" tall finished side slits, and wrist length sleeves fastens down the center front with peach and turquoise silk frog fasteners.
The collar, center front, and sleeve ends are accented with coordinating turquoise silk piping as pictured.
Lined with peach silk. Right and left front pockets as pictured.
Exquisite floral embroidery in a rainbow of colors, including greens, yellow, oranges, and orange as pictured.
This can also be worn as a blouse.
DESIGNER LABEL: Red Clouds / Hunan China / Hand Embroidered / Pure Silk 100%. There is also the original paper hang tag from Shanghai Friendship Store.
CONDITION: New and Unworn with Original Tags. It is in very good condition with no holes, rips, tears, snags, fading, discoloration, odors or missing/loose embroidery. The only thing is three light storage spots on the front near the embroidery (shown in photos above). These spots should come out with professional dry cleaning.
SIZING: Tagged a vintage size 36. I'd say this would best fit a size Medium based on the measurements below.
