1970s North Beach Leather Buttery Lace Up Cognac Brown Pants Bootcut Whipstitch
I swoon every time I look at these pants…they are simply perfection and such a perfect representation of 1970s hippie fashion. Made by Robert Warner, the creator of North Beach Leather, these pants are all hand cut and hand whipstitched. Doesn’t get more loving than that! It is also impossible to describe how soft they are…buttery doesn’t quite cover it, they’re SO soft and feel so good to wear. It’s amazing to me that something can be so soft and so structured at the same time after all these years. A forever piece for the hippie!! These have a more bootcut leg than some I’ve seen, more wearable for boots or a statement shoes and not as over the top as a bell. Very small imperfection near left hip, mild irregularities in leather, and my favorite imperfection (if you can even call it that) on the right butt area where the previous owner maybe sat on a concrete block or something similar that scratched the area slightly.
