Stylish 1970s Nautical inspired knit dress with coordinating belt. Navy colored with white and blue accents and large front patch pockets. Low v-neck opening and a button down front make this comfortable and easy to wear. Crossover style with matching leather belt. Fabric is a wool crepe material. Partially lined for comfort. Made in USA. I date this around 1975 or 1976. Sayres moved to designing for Wellmore in the 80s and went on a nautical streak around the mid 70s.

Bust measures 40", waist 29", hip 39", length 43". Hits knee length or just below depending on height. Nice weight to the fabric, great for fall or spring, most likely a bit too hot for summer. There were two small pinholes I identified along the side of the skirt, but I didn't spot any other issues or fading.
