Oh, this bag is a real treasure! I almost hate to let it go because I have a feeling I will never see another one. Made at the original New York City factory, it is a twist on Coach's Slim Satchel Compact (the Slim Satchel came in 2 sizes: the Standard and the Compact) but done in a delicious, amazing, fabulous reverse suede. This isn't in any of my catalogs, and I know there aren't a whole many of these out there. The creed is much different than the Berkeley creed would be when that collection would be launched in the late-mid 90's, and of course the serial number is an individual one, rather than an organized post 1994 serial number. It's a pretty special purse!

~CONDITION:

Excellent vintage condition. The piping is intact, there is no staining on the handles, no popped stitches, or stains. I have gone ahead and given it a spa treatment: cleaned and brushed the suede, polished the brass, and conditioned the leather in preparation for its' next stop in life (or for if I decide to keep it).
