This is such a great piece of Coach history; an amazing bag that they made in 3 sizes in the New York City factory days. It's a narrow, medium sized bag that can easily be worn in a shoulder or crossbody style. The flap can be buckled closed for security, or the strap can be tucked in under the flap for ease of use...very clever! As with all the old Coach bags, this one's taken on a fantastic patina; they become smooth and shiny. I love it!

Very, very good vintage condition. The only thing that keeps me from calling it excellent is a minor scrape on the bottom corner (shown in the 4th pic), but I mean really; this is a 4 decades old bag... who among us doesn't have a blemish or two? I have gone ahead and given it a nice conditioning treatment and polished the brass in preparation for its' next step in life.
