Is there anything this wrap coat doesn't work with? Probably not! The taupe color is so versatile. Since the interior is quilted, it is much warmer than it looks and warmer than a typical suede coat. Aside from the quilted, insulated interior, the coat is crafted from "Skinner" Japanese microsuede. Halston pioneered the use of this fabric in his 1972 collection, and in the years that followed, it was so favored that Skinner actually couldn't produce enough to keep up with demand. The fabric is incredibly soft and feels like natural suede. The coat wraps, fastening on the interior with a ribbon tie on one side, and single button closure on the outside. I especially love the decoration details around the button, as it's so rare to find this whimsy in modern outerwear and clothing.
