70’s Sant Angelo Lilac Purple Slinky Maxi Skirt Strapless Dress

Ok this piece is one of those that just makes my heart sing!! The unparalleled creativity of Georgio Sant Angelo manifests in a more simple way in this piece, but just as impactful in its profound uniqueness.

My best researched guess is that it was made in 1972-74 with similar styles and fabrications from museums. Made from his iconic spandex material in a shimmery lavender color, this can be worn as a maxi skirt or a strapless midi dress, so great for all seasons and events, to dress up or dress down. I can see it flowing on a beach with sandals or spinning at the disco with platforms. Great with a disco top or even a cropped tee to be more grunge!

Great condition with super duper faint tiny discoloration at back of hem. It's so faint, I couldn't even get it to show up in a photo.

24-28” Waist as a skirt (any wider and the V opening may be too revealing)

Up to 36” Bust as a dress (any wider and the ties won't be long enough, but fabric has lots of stretch)
