This simple black leather 1970s belt has a really fabulous buckle! Cast by the Bergamot Brass Works, the large, heavy, oval buckle has a high-relief, classical design of “Leda and the Swan”, plus a few extra nymphs/companions thrown in for good measure, along with a flowering tree. The buckle can be easily removed from the belt by unsnapping it, if you’d like to wear it with other belts, too. This unique vintage buckle and belt are in very good condition, with some scuffs to the leather from normal use, and some wear to the surface of the brass buckle (see close-up photo). The belt is a nice, larger size, but could be made a bit smaller with new holes, if desired.
