This chain tassel necklace is a bright antiqued gold color. The textured cable chain measures 24 inches and holds a 3 inch, all chain tassel pendant hanging from a a large, .75 inch ring. It has a nice weight to it and not too heavy.

The makers mark on the tiny metal tag is stamped Park Lane. Park Lane was established in 1955 in Chicago.

This metal necklace is circa 1960 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.
