These earrings are made antiqued gold mesh stretched across large tear drop shaped wire hoops. They are large, but light weight and measure 2. 5 inches across and 3 inches long. The gold mesh square is soldered to the top of the earring wire. They hang from antiqued gold plated French hooks.They are from the mid-seventies, glamorous disco era. The mesh moves independently catching the dance floor lights!These were probably sold in groovy boutiques at the time, usually made in Europe or the United States.
