Vintage 60s/70s Audrey Coleman of San Diego German Drindl dress. Amazing condition on this costume dress. Bodice features floral and heart trim, faux black lace-up corset detailing, and white eyelet trim on the rounded scoop neckline. The blue flared round circle skirt is knee length with super deep side pockets. Cotton polyester blend with elastic tabs at the waist, white eyelet lace-trimmed cuffs on puffy short sleeves with elastic. Super fitted waistline, center back metal zipper. Great for Oktoberfest.

HISTORY: A dirndl consists of a close-fitting bodice featuring a low neckline, a blouse worn under the bodice, a wide high-waisted skirt and an apron. The dirndl is regarded as a folk costume (in German Tracht). It developed as the clothing of Alpine peasants between the 16th and 18th centuries.
