60s/70s Xtra Thick Shearling Full Length Penny Lane Coat

It is sized a Large but here are measurements to ensure.

The pit to pit, seam to seam waist and hips are all taken flat back from the inside of coat due to the thickness of fur. Shoulder to shoulder and sleeves are outside measurements.

Please double pit to pit ( bust), waist and hips. There is some darts in front so bust may have a bit more room.

Be sure you have comfort in shoulders with any coat that is important.

Shoulder to shoulder - 19"

Sleeves - 24. 5"

Bust ( pit to pit flat back ) - 21"

Waist - 17"

Hips - 25"

Length from shoulder to hem - 46"

This coat is STUNNING. Very thick shearling probably because it was made in Poland where cold is really cold. The suede is super soft condition with no drying, cracking or shedding of fur. It looks great and passes the "drop" test. The issues I do see are minor and basically the buttons are loose. They are backed by buttons on the inside so anyone who works on leather can just tighten up. And the one bottom braided loop is stretched more than rest, I would imagine no biggie since it is a 50 plus year old coat but again, someone who works with leather should be able to either replace the braided hoop or shorten and stitch. There is the original extra leather button on the inside of coat. This is full pelts so it is a fully shearling not just trim and suede.

And to find one this length!

Look at the details in the closures. And the thick fur on collar, front trim, sleeves and hem is very rare in a midi coat. The color is a deep chocolate but had to lighten to show details on pictures. I am far from a pro photographer so wanted to at least show the amazing braided loop closures and the lushness of trim.

This item is sold from an excellent, highly rated vintage boutique in Washington State Usa.
