1970s Leslie Fay Floral Embroidered Velvet Blazer and Maxi Skirt

Three-Piece set consists of blazer, skirt, and belt

Fabricated in black cotton velveteen with a colorful schiffli embroidery.

Blazer feathers rounded notched shawl lapels.

Large black faceted plastic buttons with antique brass-colored rims.

Maxi skirt features a solid black velveteen waistband.

Fastens at side seam with an invisible zipper and a hook and bar at the waistband

1" hem clean-finished with hem tape.

Condition: Very good. Minor surface wear/ balding to the edges and seams. Worn in, not out. Minor, even color fade. Back princess darts had been added and then removed by a previous owner. You can see the subtle shadow where they were let out. See photos. This has been hand-soaked and line dried. Clean and ready to wear.
