Here it is: the ultimate, vintage FITTED denim dress!
Although denim dresses seem to have been around, in every decade since the 1960's, they are usually cut in a more relaxed style. This version, by German label John F. Gee, is super flattering, as it is cut to be fitted in all the right places. Made from a regular, medium to heavy weight, pure cotton denim, this dress is easy to go bra-less in, thanks to the structure that the denim and cut provide. The straps are somewhat workwear/overalls-inspired, and reach toward the center back (please note: straps had to be folded and tucked on my dress from, in the photographs). Bodice has center front button section, as well as nylon zipper and hook + eye back closure. Self-fabric belt and belt loops, too! I love the typical denim details that were thrown into the design of this dress; orange contrast top stitching, multiple hip pockets, and little brass brad rivets. Overall condition is very good, with obvious discoloration to denim at areas, as well as a few broken and missing stitches at right hip pocket. Please see photographs for full details. Label reads '100% Baumwolle, Coton, Katoen, size 38'.
