1970s Coral / Pink Qiana Jersey Knit Evening gown.

The color is amazing! Cross between a coral and bubble gum pink. It is a soft color, not vibrant.

Sexy and easy to wear in a silky, stretch jersey knit that was so popular in the 70s. Qiana is the same fabric that was used to make Olga lingerie.

Bodice has a faux wrap front open to the waist. Smooth back.

Back zipper.

Sturdy straps attach at back.

Front ruching detail at hip with ruching; very 1940s vibes. For some extra flair add an embellishment; flowers, ribbon, brooch etc. Shown not included.

Flared, flowing skirt.

Qiana fabric is a nylon fabric that was feels like silk.

"A silky nylon fiber developed in 1962 at the DuPont Experimental Station by Stanley Brooke Speck. The fiber was named qiana when introduced by DuPont in 1968.

Initially intended for high-end fashions, it became a popular material in the 1970s for faux-silk men's shirts, displaying bold patterns. The shirts were generally cut tight and included wide collars to fit over the collars of the double-knit suit coats, which were worn popularly to discos.."
